Prophet busted for stealing phones

The leader of Fresh Anointing Ministry at Akyem Dwenase in the Fanteakwa District of the Eastern Region, Prophet Samuel Okai, has been arrested by the Anyinam police for allegedly stealing mobile phones.

The purportedly drunk prophet was arrested at Owura’s Phone shop said to have stolen two phones Monday afternoon.

The shop owner, one Frimpong, speaking to DAILY GUIDE, said the suspect went to the shop to do window shopping but was later seen stealing the phones.

“He came here drunk to do window shopping but the attendant caught him in the act stealing the phones,” he indicated.

Prophet Samuel Okai, who admitted stealing the phones, said it was the work of the devil; he also attributed his drunkenness to a concoction he had taken to heal his ailment.

Meanwhile, he is currently in police custody to be processed for court.
