Gov’t approves postings for picketing nurses

Government has now given clearance for some unemployed nurses to be employed.

The 3000 graduate nurses can start work in hospitals across the country after government issued their financial clearance.

The nurses picketed at the presidency on Monday over the delay in posting them.

Speaking to Starr News, president for the Ghana Registered nurses Kwaku Asante Krobea said the development is exciting.

“We have been able to secure financial clearance for the 3000 nurses and so there is peace at the front. They are happy that we’ve been able to get financial clearance for them. The nurses who picketed have been informed and everyone is excited,” he said.
