The management of Koala has presented a brand new car to the brave taxi driver who botched an armed robbery attack on its employee at Cantonments last Saturday.
The move is in fulfillment of the company’s promise to the driver following the incident.
President John Mahama has also promised the hero driver a house for his exploits.
The robbers shot the sales girl whom they thought was on her way to deposit the previous day’s sales at the bank. While bolting, the driver rammed into the motorbike of the thieves, forcing them into a nearby drain.
An armed soldier who chanced on the scene intervened to effect the arrest of the duo, who were still shooting in their injured state.
