Jerryson FM closed down after angry mob attack station

Nkoranza-based Jerryson FM has been shut down after it was attacked by angry customers of Jarstar Motors and Investments.

The customers are demanding the release of their investments which have been locked up in DKM Micro finance.

Reports indicate that the head of sports for the station has been kidnapped.

Starr News’ Brong Ahafo regional correspondent Michael Mfum Sarpong reported that the angry mob attacked the station with clubs and cutlasses.

Police personnel have been deployed to the station to maintain calm and prevent any further attacks.

Jarstar Motors reportedly took deposits from clients promising to give out a car after the full payments has been made.

The company later promised to give 50% increase for monies invested for two months but the company folded up after DKM microfinance went bankrupt.
