Farmer commits suicide at Begoro

A farmer, Kwesi Davor, believed to be in his late 40s has committed suicide at Jukwa, a suburb of Begoro in the Fanteakwa District of the Eastern region.

According to reports, the lifeless body of the palmwine tapper was found hanging on a tree in his farm Sunday afternoon after informing his family that he was going to look for foodstuff.

Even though circumstances leading to his death are unknown, some residents said he had a misunderstanding with his wife before going to the farm.

Meanwhile, the body of the deceased has been deposited at the Begoro hospital morgue for further investigations by the police.

According to sources, the deceased is married with four children, two currently in Koforidua and the other two staying with him in Begoro.
