Chinese Ambassador to Ghana H.E. Mdm. Sun Baohong has donated 20 sewing machines to the First Lady, Lordina Mahama.
The donation was to support the Lordina Foundation with it charity works.
In her speech, she said, “the Chinese Embassy in Ghana will continue to cooperate with the Lordina Foundation to actively conduct charity activities and people’s livelihood programs to benefit more Ghanaians”.
Ambassador Sun briefed the First Lady, on the development of China-Ghana relations and the cooperation achievements in various fields such as health, culture and people-to-people exchange.
She expressed the readiness of the Chinese side to continue to support the socio-economic development of Ghana.
H.E. Mrs. Lordina Mahama conveyed her sincere gratitude towards the contribution made by the Chinese side to the national development of Ghana and the great support rendered by the Chinese Embassy to the Lordina Foundation.
She urged both sides to deepen the cooperation in carrying out charity programs and improving people’s livelihood to boost the already very sound development of the Ghana-China bilateral relations.
