Ghanaians asked to safeguard the democratic dispensation

Most Reverend Vincent Sowah Boi – Nai, Catholic Bishop of Yendi has called on Ghanaians to safeguard the country’s democratic dispensation.

He said acts of violence only lead to a spiral of violence and so all must work together to make sure that on November 7, the Presidential and Parliamentary Elections would be violent free.

Bishop Sowah Boi – Nai made the call when he delivered a New Year message during a church service at Our Lady of Lourdes Cathedral at Yendi in the Municipality in the Northern Region.

He advised all and sundry to refrain from acts of indiscipline and violence that would mar peaceful co-existence.

Bishop Sowai Boi – Nai urged Ghanaians to thank God for his mercies in 2015 despite the natural or manmade disasters that occurred in other parts of the globe.

He called on Christians to continue to pray for peace in the country.
