Chase Petroleum supports Village of Hope Orphanage

Chase Petroleum, a bulk oil distributing company, on Tuesday donated items worth GH?20,000.00 to the Village of Hope Orphanage in the Central Region.

The items include clothes, food items, pressing irons, and a flat screen television.

Presenting the items, Mr Dan Amoah, Managing Director, Chase Petroleum, called on Christians to show love to the needy and vulnerable in society.

He commended the management of the orphanage for their love for humanity and the desire to help the less-privileged in the society.

Mr Amoah praised the management for dedicating their efforts to the needs of orphans and the physically challenged in the society.

Mr Fred Asare, Managing Director, Village of Hope, expressed his appreciation to the management of Chase Petroleum for their kind gesture saying the items would go a long way to alleviate their challenges.

He cited the payment of school fees and medical bills for the orphans as major challenges being faced by the orphanage and appealed for continuous assistance.

Mr Asare said the Orphanage, which was established in 1989 by a group of ministers from the Church of Christ, is a multifaceted charitable organization with the primary focus on child care, healthcare and education.

He said currently the orphanage is home to 254 children out of which 20 are in the universities and polytechnics.
