Liberia President departs

Accra, Aug.16, GNA-The newly sworn-in President of Liberia, Mr Moses Blah, returned home on Saturday evening after a three-day visit during which he held talks with President John Agyekum Kufour who is also the ECOWAS Chairman.

The Liberian President also held meetings with the various factions of the Liberian crisis in clinching the final peace agreement. The President who was accompanied by the Libearian Defence Minister was seen off at the Airport by the Vice President Alhaji Aliu Mahama, and Nana Akuffo Addo, Minister of Foreign Affairs.
