Aspiring NPP Volta Regional Chairman launches his campaign

Hohoe, Aug. 15, GNA- A leading member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Volta Region, Mr Emil Kwame Asidigbe, has declared his intention to contest the regional Chairmanship of the party in the forthcoming congress at Hohoe.

Mr Asidigbe said when elected he would unite the NPP family in the region and reorganise the people to win twelve out of the 19 parliamentary seats in the region for the party.

He was speaking to the press at Hohoe on Friday after touring six constituencies in the northern sector of the region to campaign for the chairmanship.

He visited Hohoe North and South, Buem, Biakoye, Nkwanta and Akan. He appealed to delegates to the forthcoming regional congress to give him the mandate to enable him to put his vision into reality. The regional delegates congress of the party comes off on August 30, 2003 at Hohoe.
