Kufuor: Ghanaians want Mahama out

Ghanaians want change from the bad governance of the Manama administration, former President John Kufuor has said.

The two-time president told the New Patriotic Party’s Extraordinary National Delegates Conference in Sunyani in the Brong Ahafo Region on Saturday December 19, 2015 that: “Ghana is demanding change.”

“Our nation has come to a very critical and fateful crossroads. And the nation is seeking change because of the affliction of bad governance, poor economy, lack of direction that we suffer in the country.

“The youth of the country just cannot see the light at the end of the tunnel and, so, the people are saying we want change.

“As things stand, the change can happen only through one party and that party is your party, the NPP.

“We must not take anything for granted. I believe it is the destiny of NPP to give good governance to Ghana. That was what happened through 2001 to 2008 and this why the people are looking up to NPP…they believe only the NPP can set the country on an even keel, wealth creation… let the NPP come in because the NPP has the DNA to move the private sector and it’s the private sector that will generate the wealth that the people want…” Mr Kufuor said.
