Ex-military officer found dead in his room

The family of an ex-military officer found dead in his room suspect foul play and has rejected claims that he committed suicide.

John Tanjaboh was found dead in his room at Korle Gonno in Accra on Tuesday with a knife stuck in his belly after going missing for some days.

The ex-military officer went abroad to further his education and came back to the country to set up a restaurant a year ago.

His family suspects he was murdered as they await the outcome of police investigations.

“Some investigations must be made and also there are some finger prints which have been taken and we are waiting for the results to find out whether he was stabbed or if it’s true as the land lady says that my father stabbed himself.”

Meanwhile, the Korle Bu Police has commenced investigations into the matter.
