NGO donates to children’s home

Nkoranza (B/A), Aug. 12, GNA – German Development Services (GTZ), a non-governmental organisation, has presented 9.9 million cedis to the management of Royale Child Foundation Home at Nkoranza for the upkeep of the children.

Presenting the money Miss Annette Turnann, Advisor to the NGO, commended the founder of the Home, Mr Karikari Bediako-Poku, for his show of concern for the orphans.

Miss Turnann said the NGO would continue to assist the Home. Mr Bediako-Poku thanked the NGO for the gift and said the money would be used to buy beds, household utensils and clothing and to renovate the Home.

He appealed to other benevolent organisations to assist the Home.
