Battle to win Awutu-Senya seat has begun – Aspirant

Dr Adams Nuhu, Awutu-Senya East Constituency elected NDC Aspiring Member of Parliament, has said the just ended primaries was mere a friendly match towards victory in the 2016 elections.

He thanked the members for giving him their mandate saying he was determined to lead the party to wrest the parliamentary seat from the NPP.

Dr Nuhu, who is the District Chief Executive for the area, said this in an interview with the Ghana News Agency.

It will be recalled that Dr Nuhu polled 1,633 votes representing 60.8 per cents of the valid votes cast in the recent primaries against that of four others, to lead the party in the 2016 elections.

He call on all within the party to bury their differences, see themselves as one people and work towards the victory in 2016.

He said a vote for him and President John Mahama would lead to more development projects in the area.
