Chief Policy Analyst at the Ghana Institute for Public Policy Options, Dr. Charles Wereko-Brobby says Nana Akufo-Addo will do better if elected president of Ghana, than what Nigerian president Mahamadu Buhari is currently doing in his country.
President Buhari has received commendation globally for taking decisive steps to root corruption out of Nigeria and has also introduced several policies towards reforming the West African nation.
However, speaking on the AM Drive on Atinka FM on Thursday, Dr. Wereko-Brobby, Founding Member of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) stated that Nana Addo has the capabilities to even outperform the Nigerian president and make Ghana better than it is in the current dispensation under the National Democratic Congress led by President John Dramani Mahama.
In his view, President Mahama’s approach to dealing with issues of corruption among his appointees is too weak.
