God’s Solution Centre Ghana organizes community gathering

God’s Solution Centre Ghana on the 28th November, 2015 organized a Community Gathering at the Abbeam Institute of Technology Campus under the theme “Finding a Community Solution”.

The gathering brought together communities such as Asabahem, Alpha, Domiabra, Kasoa and Abbeam City.

The communities were put into groups to brainstorm and come out with the specific challenges that confront them for immediate attention in order for them to be addressed.

Problems and challenges that the respective communities complained about in their separate report after the brainstorming session included; inadequate security in their various communities and how to curb down the crimes, bad road network, lack of portable drinking water, inadequate public schools to match up with the increase in the population of young children, lack of community market centers, absence of health posts, construction of a public washroom, harassment from land guards, lack of street lights, lack of well-constructed drainage systems.

The Zonal Council Secretary and Assemblyman for the Gbemomo Electoral Area commended the God’s Solution Centre, Ghana for embarking in the Community Gathering Project to find solutions to the numerous problems and challenges that the various communities faced on daily basis.

This they maintain is directly in line with decentralization agenda of the local government practice and called on other members of the public to emulate the initiative of the God’s Solution Centre, Ghana. They assured and pledged their total support for the success of the initiative.

The Vice-chancellor of the Abbeam Institute of Technology, Mrs. Abbeam Danso who was highly impressed with the high number of the community which attended the gathering which was aimed at finding solutions to the problems of the communities said the Abbeam Concept of “New Thinking “of her husband.

Pastor Abbeam Danso Ampomah motivated her to organize the program. She then assured the various communities present of their full support and assistance to aid in solving some of the problems they identified in order to make life better for them.

The aim of Mrs. Abbeam Danso is to see positive desired changes in the life of the communities, well transformed lives especially in the educational sector.

She stated that God’s Solution Centre, Ghana would offer pre-counseling to the community members and also educate them on local government issues, the roles of the community in achieving the Local government goals in Ghana.

She further explained why the Zonal council and the assemblymen of the communities were involved to realize the desired collaboration.

Furthermore, she expressed her worry about the increasing rate of school dropouts and teenage pregnancy in the various communities and promised to help solve the above by embarking on a massive counseling session in the various communities by first tackling the causes of teenage school dropouts.

In conclusion, Mrs. Abeam Danso encouraged individuals to support “God’s Solution Centre, Ghana” in finding short, medium and long term solutions to the problems faced in the communities.

She declared that in spite of the financial challenges the vision and mission of the “God’s Solution Centre” would not sit back and watch the communities deteriorate.

Projects that have seen improvement by the Abbeam Group includes: the construction of a bridge at Peace Amanfrom Town, construction of police post at Abbeam City, Street Lights from Tomefa-Nurses quarters, construction of road from Tomefa to Nurses quarters.

Present at the Community Gathering organized by the God’s Solution Centre, Ghana were Hon.Bartholomew of Gbemomo Electoral area and Mr. Prosper Tsetse as well as executive members of the God’s Solution Centre, staff and students of the Abbeam Institute of Technology, Ghana.
