Two suspects nabbed over death of a Policeman

Victor Nornoo, 30, a palm wine tapper and Kofi Duho, 40, an auto mechanic, who allegedly shot and killed a policeman in a botched robbery in Ho in September, have been arrested.

The Policeman was said to be on night guard duty at a gas station.

Peterkin Yentumi Gyinae, Volta Regional Police Commander, told journalist on Friday that the two were traced to their hideouts at Penyi and Dzodze respectively in the Ketu North District.

He said the two were arrested with two locally manufactured pistols found on them.

He said the suspects had been put before court while investigations continued to locate the missing police rifle.
