You’d love to work with Rawlings – E.T Mensah

A former minister of works and housing E.T Mensah has described Jerry John Rawlings, who ruled Ghana for close to two decades, as a “good boss” one will love to work with.

Long standing rumours have it that the former youth and sports minister has been at the receiving end of the ex-soldier when he was head of state.

Some have claimed that Rawlings battered the Member of Parliament (MP) for Ningo-Prampram for living extravagant lifestyle at a time Ghanaians were suffering. However, the veteran MP denied those allegations, heaping praises on his former boss.

“You’d love to work with Rawlings. He’ll commend you. All those allegations against him are lies,” the lawmaker, who is seeking re-election, told Bola Ray on the weekly personality show Starr Chat.

According to the father of seven, he is winning the National Democratic Congress (NDC) upcoming primaries hands down.

“I am winning and the question about whether I will accept defeat does not come in. I know what is on the ground.”
