Teachers to be transferred after 10 years stay at one station

Nkoranza (B/A), Aug 2, GNA- The Nkoranza District Education Directorate has decided to transfer all teachers who have served more than 10 years at one station, Mr J.R. Agyeman-Badu, the District Director said on Friday.

He was addressing a meeting of teachers in Nkoranza Circuit at Bonsu as part of a working visit to the area.

Mr Agyeman-Badu said the exercise would afford teachers who had over stayed to work in a new environment.

He advised them to lead exemplary lives as role models and get actively involved in clean up exercises.

He noted that many school children lacked basic school items such as exercise books, pens and pencils, and appeal to parents to ensure that their wards are adequately catered for.
