Nakpanduri and Yunyoo get police barracks assembly building

Nakpanduri/Yunyoo (N/R), Aug 1, GNA – The East Mamprusi District Assembly has handed over a 220 million-cedi Nakpanduri Area Council building and Yunyoo Police barracks at separate functions in the two towns.

The Area Council building cost 100 million cedis while the Police barracks with a four-seat KVIP cost 120 million cedis. Alhaji Saabon Kudi and Mr Elijah Slim Laar, the contractors of the projects, handed over the keys of the buildings to Madam Adama Musah, the Presiding Member of the Assembly and Police Inspector Prince Ofosuhene of the Yunyoo Police Station.

Mr David Konlaa, District Chief Executive, advised the beneficiaries to take good care of the buildings and urged the Yunyoo Police Command to step up their efforts to get personnel posted to the area to help curb criminal activities in the District.
