Christine Churcher commissions borehole

Nkanfoa (C/R), Aug 1, GNA – Ms Christine Churcher, Minister of State for Basic, Secondary and Girl-Child Education, on Thursday commissioned a borehole and two telephone booths for the people of Nkanfoa in the Cape Coast Municipality.

The Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) constructed the borehole at a cost of 25 million cedis.

Ms Churcher urged the people to use the water judiciously and to maintain the borehole so that it would last for them.

Mr Osei Tutu, Assemblyman for Ridge and Nkanfoa Electoral Area thanked ADRA for their gesture and expressed the hope that others would emulate them.

The Minister later presented books estimated at 25 million cedis to basic schools in the area.
