CBO holds quiz competition for schools at Dormaa-Ahenkro

Dormaa-Ahenkro, Aug 1, GNA – The Youth Organisation Training Club, a community-based organisation (CBO), has organized a quiz competition on HIV/AIDS for some schools at Dormaa-Ahenkro in Brong Ahafo.

The competition was aimed at creating awareness about the dangers of the pandemic and the need for all to help in its spread.

Roman Catholic Junior Secondary School (JSS) came first with 67 points and was presented with 150,000 cedis and 20 exercise books, while Saint Dominic R.C. JSS took the second position with 66 points and received 120,000 cedis and 20 exercise books.

Presbyterian JSS came third with 65 points and had 100,000 cedis together with 20 exercise books, while Agyeman Badu JSS placed fourth and collected 61 points, 80,000 cedis and 20 exercise books. Mr. Joseph Osei Tweneboah, Assembly Member and chairman of the club, expressed satisfaction at the performance of the participants.
