Heads of State arrival for ECOWAS extraO summit on Liberia

Accra, July 31 GNA- Heads of States of Nigeria and Togo, Prime Minister of Guinea as well as the Vice President of Gambia arrived in the country on Thursday to participate in extra ordinary ECOWAS Summit on the Conflict situation in Liberia.

Foreign Ministers of Burkina-Faso Yusif Ouadrago; Mona Captan of Liberia; Younuni Djemakite of Niger; Amuzu Bruno of Benin and Theodore Melej of cote d’Ivoire.

President John Agyekum Kufuor and Dr Mohommed Ibn Chambas, Executive Secretary of ECOWAS met President Olusegun Obasanjo of Nigeria and Gnassingbe Eyadema of Togo.

The two heads of states took the ECOWAS salute mounted by three officers and 96 men of the Ghana Air Force under the Command of Squadron Leader Joshua Lankai.
