‘I’ll support Nana Addo to become President’ – Alan ‘K’

The thrice defeated NPP flagbearer hopeful Alan Kyerematen has stated categorically that he will do everything possible within his power to ensure that the party’s flagbearer Nana Akufo-Addo becomes President of Ghana.

According to him, the party believes in competition but once the competition ends, every party member is required to come on board to fight for victory in the elections.

“I have contested him (Akufo-Addo) three times and after every contest, we come together to work for the party and that is exactly what is required of every party member. We need to prove to the people that the party is united and ready to win the 2016 elections

“ I will support Akufo-Addo to become President,” the former trades minister stated when he accompanied Akufo-Addo for an interview on Accra-based Citi FM Monday.

On the ‘Free Senior High School’ policy which was his flagship message during the 2012 electioneering, Nana Akufo-Addo raised concerns about the mode of implementation of the programme by the Mahama-led -administration and noted that the programme can be well financed if corruption is confronted head on.
