Ridge Hospital mortuary congested

The Ridge Hospital in Accra has given a two-week ultimatum to prospective families to come identify and claim bodies of their dead relatives with the facility.

The hospital said these bodies have been in its morgue for 7 months and more.

Management of the facility in a statement Friday said they will arrange for a mass burial in two weeks if the bodies are not claimed.

Below are details of the bodies due for burial

Gladys Atube, death 14 February 2014 – 31 years.

Kojo Antwi, 24th August, 2014 – 53 years

Daniel Obeng, 4th September, 2014 -31 years

Emmanuel Akunnor, 10th September, 2014 – 56 years

Adwoa Okailey, 2 March 2015 – 25 years

Obinna, 31st March, 201- 40 years

Agya Owusu, 22nd April, 2015 – 38 years

Ernest Meyanu 2nd May, 2015- 32 years

Emmanuel Odame, 25th July, 2015- 60 years
