Police looking for students suspected of arson

Osino (E/R), July 23, GNA – The police at Osino are looking for three students of Osino Secondary School, alleged to have set fire to the school.

Briefing the GNA on the incident, the Head master of the school, Mr Kwadwo Acheampong-Sakyi named Annor William, Kofi Nkansa and Henry Nartey as the suspects, who were on the run. He said at about 5.30 a.m on Tuesday, they sprinkled petrol behind the school administrative block and the computer room and set the area ablaze.

Mr Acheampong-Sakyi said the school watchmen saw smoke coming from the area and rushed to put the fire off but the students managed to flee.

The head master said earlier, they misbehaved and were asked to bring their parents to see the school authorizes.

He said two louver blades were removed from the school block and that the police were investigating the theft and the arson case.
