Two persons to contest primary in Tarkwa-Nsueam

Two members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have filed their nominations to contest the party’s parliamentary primary in the Tarkwa Nsueam constituency in the Western Region.

They are Mr. Joseph Otchere, 50, district health insurance manager of Akuapim South, and Mr. Seth Kwame Dzokoto, a 40-year old renowned actor and radio presenter, who the current deputy constituency propaganda secretary.

Although Madam Gladys Egyin, the women’s organizer for the constituency was the first person to pick her forms, she did not submit them at the close of nomination on September 10.

The Constituency Secretary, Mr. Kwadwo Akono Sarkyi, made these disclosures to the Ghana News Agency at the constituency office at Tarkwa Tamso.

He ad vised the aspirants to conduct their campaigns devoid of insults and rancour, saying “you should not do anything that will disturb the prevailing peace and unity in the party.”
