Concerned Youth Appeals to Victor Smith

Concerned youth of Abuakwa north for development has appealed to Ambassador Victor Smith to contest the parliamentary seat to continue his ongoing massive developmental projects in the constituency.

The convener, Kwame Above, at a press conference in Kukurantumi has however called on the president, National as well as Regional executives to facilitate for his come back if only the party wants to achieve their Agenda 50/50 in the region come 2016.

“Ambassador Smith was in the region as regional minister but his development agenda was very great which even had positive impact on NDC’s votes, therefore, we know he can do more” he added.

Mr. Above mentioned the construction of Kukurantumi-Asafo road, reshaping rural roads(Tafo-Tontro and Tafo-Nobi), construction of bridge linking Tafo and Zabu Zongo as well as awarding of scholarships as some of his achievements including an ongoing construction of hospital for Kukurantumi.
He is therefore appeqling to executives of the party to convince him to contest since he is the only candidate who can win the seat from the opposition New Patriotic Party.

“We will pick the nomination form for him even if he is not willing to contest” the over 300 members of the group stressed.

Meanwhile, investigations shows the NDC’s only guarantee to win the Abuakwa north seat or increase their votes is by presenting someone who can pull more votes and that shows why the people are worried.

It also reveal that, the incumbent NPP MP, Hon. J. B Danquah is been accused of doing nothing to assist his own people as he has nothing to show off for his two-time in parliament.
