In a telephone interview with the Ghana New Agency, Mr Odamtten said he has been informed that someone has picked a form on his behalf but he still wants to concentrate on his task of serving and developing the whole Metropolis.

Meanwhile, Mr Noah Apedoe Cranstia, a trader and farmer, has also picked forms, as at 12:00 hours, to contest the Tema East slot of the NDC.

Mr Apedoe Cranstia, 49, and a father of four, said he was the choice of the people as party members had called on him to contest.

He said as a unifier and with good leadership skills, he would ensure victory for the party come 2016.

According to him, it was his vision to transform the constituency and uphold the aspirations of the party
