E.P. Church expresses condolence to family of late journalist

The Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Ghana, has expressed condolences to the family of the late Ghanaian Time Journalist, Samuel Nuamah, who lost his life on Friday when the Presidential Press Corps was involved in a fatal accident on the Tema- Afienya Highway.

Representatives of the Church paid a visit today to the 37 Military Hospital where the injured are on admission.

The accident occurred when the media men were returning from Ho in the Volta Region after covering the E.P. Church’s Seventh General Assembly, which was attended by the President, John Mahama.

The Senior Moderator of the Meridian Presbytery of the E.P. Church, Rev. Dr. Major Bliss Agbeko, said the church was shocked when it heard of the accident and had to cut short the General Assembly to visit the victims.

He promised the Church’s support for the injured and their families.
