Baptist Church, Mensah Essilfie donate to Accra Psychiatry

Tesano Baptist Church led by Rev. Kweku Hazel in collaboration with Sir George Mensah Essilfie, an iconic Ghanaian composer based in U.S.A, have donated an amount of GHc 6000 to the Accra Psychiatry Hospital.

The money donated was the proceeds from the “OTOMFO” concert- a choral music concert organized on the 9th August,2015 at Tesano Baptist Church, to raise funds to support Accra Psychiatric Hospital.

This choral music concert formed part of the 40th Anniversary celebration of Tesano Baptist Church.

Prominent choirs that featured at the concert were: Harmonious Chorale, Wesleyan Symphonic Choir, Accra Youth Choir, African Youth Choir and Tesano Baptist Church Choir.

The presentation was done on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at the Accra Psychiatric Hospital.

The money is supposed to be used for the renovation of three bathrooms in the Male Observation Ward of the Accra Psychiatric Hospital.
