Aspiring Assemblyman for Ada outlines vision

Mr Salifu Baba Issah, an aspiring assembly member, popularly known as “Bomboy’’ says education is his main priority, to help raise the performance of the students in the Ada Electoral Area of Koforidua.

He said, over the past few years, results from the public school in the area have not been encouraging and gave the assurance that, if voted as the assembly member, he would liaise with the school authorities and the parent teacher association, to help deal with the situation.

Speaking to Ghana News Agency in an interview, Mr Issah said, if elected, he would ensure that the community benefits from access roads, good drainage system and help resolve other challenges facing the community.

He said, he would lobby for an ICT learning centre for the community, to enable the youth to have access during vacation and serve as a research point and draw them away from social vices.

Mr Issah said, he would lobby to get the road network of Koforidua “Magazine’’ fixed .

He said, he would consult opinion leaders, former assembly members for ideas and advice in other to deliver a good service to the people.

He said he would continue to mobilise the youth to participate in sporting activities and champion development, even if he is not elected, but indicated he is confident of victory.
