The Greater Accra Regional House of Chiefs, says Osu has one Traditional Council established by law with its letter heads bearing the Coat of Arms of the Republic of Ghana and not a Stool/Sword.
Any letter head bearing Stool/Sword is illegal and should be treated with contempt and no permit should be granted in the interest of peace among the citizenry.
A statement signed by Mr H.A.K. Attipoe, Registrar of Regional House of Chiefs and copied the Ghana News Agency said.
It said Nii Okwei Kinka Dowuona VI is the gazetted Paramount Chief of the Osu Traditional Area; he is a member of the National House of Chiefs and a member of the Greater Accra Regional House of Chiefs.
The statement appealed to the public to seek clarification and cooperate with the Regional House of Chiefs to eliminate any concerns relating to such matters.
