Dr. Nana Ayew Afriyie, the newly elected New Patriotic Party Parliamentary Candidate for Effiduase-Asokore constituency in the Ashanti Region has ended his one week “Thank You Tour”.
He toured all the 37 towns in the constituency and interacted with residents including paying courtesy calls on all the chiefs and queen mothers.
He assured them of his resolve to see Nana AKufo-Addo garner not less than 85% of registered voters in the constituency.
The Effiduase-Asokore NPP Parliamentary candidate’s aim for embarking on the tour was primarily to thank the citizens for their massive support and prayers for him to win the parliamentary elections.
Alongside, he met delegates and called for unity within the party and among the defeated aspirants so they can rally behind him to show case the sense of common goal.
Dr. Nana Ayew Afriyie assured the citizens that, he will strive to facilitate development projects in his constituency.
He has current initiated KVIPs under construction in Attakrom, Akuakrom and Senchi.Also, he has already renovated two boreholes at Seniagya, another in Asukoko – all communities in the constituency.
The boreholes, according to the candidate, have been broken-down for the past four years – this will enable the over eight thousand [8,000] residents of Seniagya and surrounding communities in the Ashanti Region to have access to clean and safe water.
Until recently, the residents had to trek for miles to get access to good water for drinking, cooking and washing.
