Police officers donate computers to school

Five Senior Officers of the Ghana Police Service have presented three desktop computers, a printer and other accessories worth GHc6,500.00 to the Police Experimental Primary School in Sunyani.

According to the United Nations (UN) Peacekeepers, the items are to help in enhancing the teaching and learning of Information Communication and Technology (ICT) in the school.

They are Chief Superintendent Comfort Boateng, Superintendent Joseph Obeng Sefa, Chief Inspector Daniel Gbedzinu, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Kofi Ghampson and Chief Superintendent Fuseni Mohammed Suraji.

DSP Ghampson said the Officers bought the items from their individual financial contributions as their little contribution to boost the study of ICT, especially at the basic level.

Mr. Boateng Adjei-Bonsu, the Headmaster of the school thanked the donors for the gesture and appealed for more assistance.
