Spiritual family donates to Ridge Hospital

Accra July 9,GNA – The Devine Mother Spiritual Family from the United States on Wednesday donated surgical kits, medical items worth 500 pounds (about 70 million cedis) to the Ridge Hospital.

The donation made up of pillowcases, blankets, gloves and drugs demonstrates the love of God to the patient and staff of the hospital as well as their community, Mrs Audrey E. Kitagawa, Leader of the Spiritual Family said. She said the family earlier similar items to schools and hospitals in Mampong Akwapim; Liberian Refugees Camp at Gomoa Buduburam and the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra.

Mr Kwame Opoku, Principal Health Administrator at Ridge Hospital, who received the items, said the items would be used for the purpose for which they were donated and urged others to emulate the Family.
