Santa Barbara School celebrates 10th anniversary

Mrs Barbara Afful-Asamoah, Managing Director of Santa Barbara School, has asked students to be guided by good moral principles to achieve their academic ambitions.

Mrs Afful-Asamoah made the request when the school held its 10th anniversary and graduation ceremony.

She asked them to bear in mind that their graduation is just one step along the road of achievements and greater accomplishments.

“Leaving Santa Barbara School does not bring an end to you association with us and we therefore expect you to put into practice the good moral training and love for hard work inculcated in you”, she said.

Mrs Afful-Asamoah told the Ghana News Agency, that the vision of the school is to instill discipline in the children and make them know rights and wrongs such as the dangers of littering the environment and embracing the culture of reading and expansion of knowledge.

Mrs Afful-Asamoah said the school does not only believe in theories and knowledge from books but also practical’s.

Santa Barbara School is a private school that was established on September 13 2005 and started with 13 children; but currently has about 700 students.
