Archbishop Sarpong inaugurates computer centre

Kumasi, July 7, GNA – Most Reverend Peter Akwasi Sarpong, Catholic Archbishop of Kumasi, on Sunday inaugurated a 46 million-cedi computer centre for the Saint Paul’s parish at Amakom. He also inaugurated 150-member widows and widower’s society and a grotto for the church as part of his pastoral visit to the parish. Archbishop Sarpong appealed to Christians in a sermon to live morally upright lives for others to emulate and cautioned the unmarried youth against pre-marital sex to avoid contracting the HIV/AIDS. Archbishop Sarpong appealed to the privileged in society to share their fortunes with the less privileged like orphans, widows and the disabled who mostly depends on others for survival.
