Vehicle rams into Ecobank office at Sunyani

Staff at the Ecobank office at Sunyani ‘Area number two’ in the Brong Ahafo Region narrowly escaped death when a speeding private vehicle rammed into the building on Monday morning.

No serious casualties were recorded in the incident but the driver of the vehicle, with registration number As 415/15, sustained minor injuries.

He is currently at the Sunyani Municipal Hospital receiving treatment.

According to correspondent of Moonlite FM in Sunyani, partners of Atinka FM, Nana Opoku Piesie, there were no customers in the building when the incident occurred.

Currently, banking operations have been suspended following the incident while the police have cordoned off the area.
