Rescue House Ministries launch book

Prophet Prince Kofi Okyere, President of Faith Anointing International Ministries, has urged Ghanaians to cultivate the habit of reading to enable them to broaden their knowledge.

He said reading was the act of identifying various combination of words and linking them together in a usually comprehensive manner.

Prophet Okyere made the call at the launch of a book at Abokobi-Pantang, near Madina on Sunday.

The book “The Living Message,” which was authored by Reverend Stanley Hene, Founder of Rescue House Impact Ministries, contains 110 pages.

Prophet Okyere said book had come to be accepted as a basic tool of communication, the next step after oral communication that involve processing material that had been recorded and held in store to be used by others.

He said some people after buying a book, lay them in their shelves to gather dust.

“This attitude does not augur well for the socio-economic development of the nation”, he said adding that if you do not read, how would you know what is going on.

Rev. Hene appealed to students to draw closer to God, and take up their studies seriously.

The first copy of the book was auctioned for GH? 1,000.00
