MP donates to support Ramadan

The Member of Parliament for the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency, Hon. Emmanuel Agyarko, has donated some food items to the Muslim community in his constituency, during his tour of some selected mosques.

The items which included milk, rice and sugar was to support the Muslim community during the Holy period of Ramadan.

Presenting the items, Hon. Agyarkon emphasized that, though the fasting period could still be successful without his donations, he is of a firm belief that there are some people who could not genuinely afford these items for their fasting, so the need for the donation.

He also seized the opportunity to admonish them to exhibit the true nature of Islam in order to live harmoniously with each other.

The selected mosques he visited include the Abelemkpe, Bawaleshi, Okponglo and Tesano mosques.

He was accompanied by the Constituency Chairman, Second Vice Chairman, Nassara Coordinator and some polling station executives.
