Fanteakwa North NPP To Vote “Skirt And Blouse”-Aggrieved Youth

Concerned NPP youth of fanteakwa north of the eastern region have made it clear to vote “skirt and blouse” in the 2016 general elections to express their displeasure about the performance of their member of parliament, Kwabena Amankwa Asiamah.
The coordinator, Richard Amponsah Acheampong disclosed this at a press conference Begoro.
He said the MP over the past two terms in office cannot even boast of a single project despite having his share of the common fund.
“The MP has neglected his own people who voted for him and we the youth thinks his attitude is making the party unpopular in the constituency. He also do not take part in any activity in the constituency which is very bad” Mr. Acheampong lamented.
However, he accused constituency executives and delegates of taking bribes to vote for the MP at the just ended primaries instead of voting for someone who can perform well. Mr. Amponsah Acheampong stated emphatically that the youth are aggrieved and will surely vote for an independent candidate or the opposition National Democratic party(2016) but pledged to vote massively for the flag-bearer, Nana Akuffo Addo.
He also appealed to parliament to investigate the certificate of the MP since it is falsified according to their checks from his former school.
“The people are disappointed in the MP because of his failure to pay back customers after the collapse of his bank(Fanteakwa rural bank) so it would not be surprised to see him loose the seat come 2016” he added.
Meanwhile, attempts to reach the MP at the time of filing the story has proved futile as he refused to answer calls and messages of the reporter.
