Mahama sacks 3 MMDCE’s

President John Mahama has sacked 3 Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives in the western region asking them to hand over by Monday June 30, 2015.

Reasons for their ‘dismissal’ are not immediately known but they are to hand over to the Western regional minister, Paul Evans Aidoo.

The statement only said “The following MMDCEs have being asked to step aside by His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama based on Article 143 and 146 of the 1992 constitution of Republic of Ghana.

The Following affected persons are: 1. Jomoro DCE Hon Sylvester D. Nuamah

2. Takoradi MCE Hon Captain Anthony Cudjoe

3. Tarkwa MCE Mrs Christiana Cobbinah

More to come in the Western Region.

They are to handover to the region minister Hon Paul Evans Aidoo on the 30th of June 2015.”
