Technocrats should support Mahama – Dr. Yeboah

The Head of the Computer Science Department at the Christian Service University College (CSUC), has appealed to Ghanaian technocrats and professionals to give useful pieces of advice to help the Presidency address the nation’s development challenges.

Dr. Thomas Yeboah said the “Presidency needs the technical support of all of us, particularly the think-tanks, in these difficult times to help alleviate the plight of the people”.

He indicated that as experts, the technocrats had the capacity to provide President John Dramani Mahama with development alternatives as he sought to bolster socio-economic growth to improve the living conditions of the masses.

Speaking to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in Kumasi, Dr. Yeboah indicated that majority of the advanced economies had over the years depended on think-tanks to stimulate economic growth.

“We can do same as our dear country strives to put the pieces together to achieve our development goals,” he noted.

Dr. Yeboah, who is also a sympathizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), appealed to the leadership and delegates to endeavor to maintain President John Dramani Mahama as the flag-bearer when the party went to Congress in the latter part of this year.

He said, this was the way to go to enable the President to continue with the initiatives and socio-economic projects he had started, to benefit the nation.

“In my view, the President like his predecessors, deserve another term in office, to help him complete the projects he had started,” he observed.
