St. Augustine College of Health dupes students

Some private nursing students of the St. Augustine College of Health care at Okorase -Tei Nkwanta in the Eastern region have attacked their Principal for duping them.

They are accusing him of deceiving them to pay thousands of Cedis as fees without having accreditation to run a diploma course in Nursing.

Starr News has learnt that the school has only provisional accreditation from NVTI to offer technical and vocation courses and not nursing.

Some of the angry students who spoke to Starr News said they feel disappointed in the action of their principal.

“He just deceived us to pay those monies to him. We now understand that he doesn’t have the accreditation to run the nursing course and he has made us pay this huge amount of monies to him. Government must intervene because we are in a crisis situation,” one of them bemoaned.

The Principal, Augustine Adu Twum, has declined comments on the matter.
