Bluecrest fulfils road baton pledge

IT educational institution Bluecrest has honoured its scholarship pledge to Dream Land Sports Plus Limited organizers of the maiden Road Baton Run scheduled for July 1.

The higher learning institute has offered organizers of the race scholarship worth thousands of Cedis for runners who will excel in the event designed for students from Senior High Schools across the country.

College Director of Bluecrest Vivek K Verma said “This is our bit to support education in the country, we believe it will go long way in to motivate them in their quests of becoming great athletes.”

Chief Executive Officer of Dream Land Sports Plus Limited Emmanuel Ola Williams said “We are in an IT era so rewarding those who will excel in the race with an opportunity to upgrade themselves in IT is enough motivation. We are indeed grateful for this wonderful gesture.”

Also expected to honour their pledges for the July 1 Baton Run are Peak Milk, Indomie Instant Noodles, McVites Digestive, Top Choko and Berlin Sports, among others.
