About 253 pupils from 12 Junior High Schools in the Accra Metropolis on Monday began the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) at the Odorgonno Senior High School in Accra.

He said the Centre has so far recorded no incidence, and that, a girl, who reported with a stomach ache before the English Paper 2, was given first aid, which enabled her to take the paper.

Mr Karfo, who is also the Deputy Director and SHS Coordinator, Ga Central, said on Tuesday, the students would write the Religious and Moral Education (RME) paper.
