Convicted ‘Messiah’ curses judge after judgment

There was drama at the Accra Circuit court when a self-proclaimed evangelist rained curses on the Judge and state prosecutors for jailing him.

Kweku Yesu who claims he is the Messiah was standing trial with two others whose names were given as Apostle Paul and John the Baptist, for cultivating Indian hemp.

He told the court that they were using the Indian hemp to propagate the Gospel.

Yesu and Apostle Paul were sentenced to a year in prison each while John the Baptist was sentenced to three months.

After the trial, Yesu told the judge the heavens will punish him and Ghana for maltreating a servant of God.

“People are going to die. The Bible said we should not hide the truth, but today, people are hiding the truth. I am telling you, people will die and you all will see,” he yelled at the judge.
