Firstbanc donates items to flood victims

FirstBanc Financial Services Limited has responded to calls for support to the survivors of the recent floods in Accra.

The company has donated a truckload of mattresses, rice and other items to the flood victims.

Mr Samuel Annie Asiedu, the Managing Director of FirstBanc, said the firm was moved by the tragic incident that occurred on June 3, leading to loss of lives and varying degrees of injuries.

He said it was for this reason that the company decided to support the survivors, some of whom have lost their livelihood and basic necessities, as part of its corporate social responsibility.

He sympathized with the families who have lost loved ones in the flood and fire disaster and wished injured persons speedy recovery as they seek medical care.
