Fomer president J J Rawlings asked about the status of the investigations into the murder of 30 women in the run up to the 2000 elections. He was told by Mr Appeatu (CID) that the investigation were on going. Former president Rawlings then produced a copy of two files from the CID docket of files that clearly indicated that the case has been closed.
